We have a dedicated rug cleaning facility in Cedar Hill, Texas. The method of cleaning used is designed for maximum soil and contaminant removal. In fact, the dramatic contamination removal achieved form this process, is second to none.
Each rug is cleaned by hand, shampooed and then extracted prior to the full immersion (Rug Bath) step. This removes 95% of foreign particulate before the fresh water rug bath, producing dramatically cleaner rugs.
The first concern in rug cleaning is colorfastness, if a rug is not dye tested is may bleed during the rug cleaning process. The next concern in rug cleaning is the fiber type. All rug fibers cannot be cleaned in the same way. The third concern in rug cleaning is a rugs construction. The rug cleaning process is customized to each individual rug.
The cleaning process is as follows:
Immersion/Submersion - Offsite *15 Step Process
- Inspection - Vacuuming - Fine Dry Soil Removal/Pile Lifting - Bleed Testing/Dye Setting - Pre Spotting - Pre Conditioning - Shampooing - Extraction - Immersion/Submersion/The Rug Bath - Manual Agitation - Fringe Cleaning by Hand - Post Spotting - Wringing/Extraction - High Flow Air Drying - Dehumidification - Grooming/Pile Setting - |

Shampoo Process: The rug is mechanically agitated, with a low speed buffer producing a thick rich foam, that separates foreign particulate from the carpet fibers. |
|
Extraction Process: After the shampooing process the rug is immediately extracted. To the removed the emulsified soils and contaminates. This removes 95% of dirt before the rug bathing/immersion process. |
|
Immersion Process: Complete submersion of the rug in clean cold water flushes out all shampoo and remaining foreign contaminates. |
|
Dry Soil Extraction Process: Most of the foreign particulate that accumulates in a rug in insoluble, meaning it cannot be displaced with water. This is the most important step in the cleaning process. |
